AGL Consulting carried out several temporary works designs associated with construction of the River Barrow Bridge element of the N25 New Ross Bypass PPP Scheme. These included the Inner Haul Road and temporary platforms for  Piers 5 to 8 on the eastern floodplain of the River Barrow, the Sea Levee Protection Area and the Piled Access Jetty on the banks of the river and the Impermeable Working Area on the soft tidal river mudflats to facilitate construction of the pile foundations and pylon for Pier 4. AGL also designed the Temporary Falsework foundations on both sides of the River Barrow which will be used to support construction of the bridge deck.
